TROPICAL STORM BARBARA FORMS IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC

A new tropical storm has developed strength in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The system, now known as Tropical Storm Barbara, is at this moment located about 300 miles south of the coast of California. Meteorologists are predicting that Barbara will grow in power over the next few days. The storm is traveling westward at approximately 10 mph.
